1731 Set of Dassier Copper Medals Kings & Queens of England AUNC

An almost complete set of medals by Jean Dassier. All 41 mm except Cromwell 38mm. Ref Eimer 526.The set of medals number 33 from William 1 to the Dedicatory medal to George 11, the set does not include the single medal of Queen Caroline. However, the original issue was only 33 as George 11 was  so impressed with this set and a year after asked Dassier to make a medal for his wife Caroline.A very nice group and rare example of this desirable set.Ex Baldwins old coin /medallion vault stock.This is a very Superior set of medals.in 3 Trays.
